This policy explains what the PSM Softtech WhatsApp messaging platform (“the Platform”) collects, why, and how long it is kept. The Platform is business software: our customers are businesses who use it to hold WhatsApp conversations with their customers. In data-protection terms we act as a processor on their behalf.
Solely to deliver the messaging service our customers have asked for: routing messages between them and the people they are talking to, showing conversation history to their authorised agents, sending campaigns those agents schedule, and billing for the messages sent. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use message content for advertising or to train models.
We disclose data to no one else except where the law requires it.
Conversation history is retained for as long as the business's account is active, because that history is what the service is for. Diagnostic logs are archived after 30 days and deleted after 12 months. When an account is closed, its data is deleted within 90 days.
Access credentials and API tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Agent passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access to the Platform requires authentication and is scoped so one business can never read another's conversations. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.
If you have messaged a business that uses the Platform and want your data removed, the fastest route is to ask that business directly — it controls the data and can delete your contact record and conversation from within the Platform.
You can also write to us at mumbai@psmsofttech.com with the phone number concerned and the name of the business you messaged. We will confirm the request with that business and delete the records within 30 days, then confirm in writing. Records we are legally required to retain — such as billing records — are kept for the statutory period and nothing more.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to its processing. Requests reach us at the address above. Because we act on behalf of the business you contacted, we will normally refer your request to it and support it in responding.
Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with a revised date.
